Women in Public Relations!

Have you ever wondered just how many women are in Public Relations? Public Relations accounts for 70 percent of the workforce with 50.8 percent of those being women. According to the latest report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Public Relations Specialist field is on the rise to 71.4 percent as of 2019. will the need continue to rise?

Women in Public Relations is growing at 12 percent per year. That's huge. What are the age groups you ask? It is not relevant to the Public Relations Field, as long as you are good at what you do you will stay. With the continued growth makes one wonder, when I graduate will I still be needed? The Answer to that question is that of course you will be needed, some public relations fields will retire as well as any other field, we will be replacing those greats before us. Be Great!
